Cranberry - Orange Cake

Okay so yesterday for Johnny's birthday I made a Christmas cake. He said he didn't care what sort of cake I made and I wanted to try this.

I found it in a Christmas with Country Living 1997 book I've been browsing through lately. It was so easy and turned out wonderful. Everyone especially loved the candied orange rind and cranberries. Oh yea and I found some tiny little cranberries here in Croatia and they worked wonderfully and I didn't have to chop them, just put them in whole.

Anyhow, since I'm super lazy and wasn't about to retype an entire page of text I copied it and made it into a PDF for easy printing.

This is a great holiday cake and went over super well with the Croats and they're a tough crowd to please.

  2. Happy late birthday to your husband.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and your sweet comments.
My daughter was 34 years old. I have 3 with birthdays in Dec. My oldest daughter will be 39 the 28. and my youngest son will be 45 the 17. My first born daughter was killed by a drunk driver in 1968 at the age of 4 years old. I know she is with the Lord and I will see her when I come home.
Have a wonderful Christmas and bless your family.

Croatia, huh? That's a long ways from Arizona where I reside, though I've heard tell it's absolutely beautiful.

    Bless you, new friend.
