A Day at the Zoo

Today the church took a trip to the capitol to visit the zoo. Actually the Zagreb zoo is the only zoo in the country. It's a small zoo but very clean and very open. You can get very close to all the animals and it's a very serene, clean enviorment. We enjoyed ourselves. Here's my Hannah, on the Left, then Doretea and Mauella.

I recorded this pretty little bear, isn't he cute?
Had to throw some flowers in there somewhere. Don't have an idea what these little beauties are but they're so pretty.

Wow, is this guy impressive or what?
What a lazy day. These guys were so relaxed!
Milan is the youngest child of our Roma family, Milan and Marija are so faithful and they're a great blessing to us.
Milan and his youngest daughter Elvira (Hannah's best buddy)
Is this the cutest little otter, he was in arm's length . I love how open the zoo is, don't know how safe it is but it was neat.
A group picture of the folks from church. Sadly for you, I'm not in it!! :0) I was the photographer.
A black swan! I've never seen one and though it was oh so interesting.
Beggin' for handouts! This guy was full of personality and was a really good catch too.

So our zoo trip is over, the kids enjoyed themselves. It was a little boring for me but I enjoyed seeing the kids have fun.

  4. Looks like fun for the kiddos! Wes and I had an experience in a zoo similar to this one. I think I'll blog about it! It wasn't fun at all.

  5. What a fun day! I can't wait to have a congregation of folks that I can understand and take to the zoo. How fun! I wish I could fast-forward these first few years.

  6. Looks like you all had fun. I had a question about the skirt Hannah was wearing. Did you make it using the skirt from jeans directions that you have on your site? It's a really cute skirt that she was wearing.

  9. Actually no Diane,
I bought that skit at Cato's. It's pretty warn and I think I'll eventually have to retire it, but I was thinking about taking it apart and using the pieces as a pattern to make another.

    Have a great weekend!

  10. great pictures...and I have to agree, the kids get alot more from a visit to the zoo than I do! They're already asking to go this summer, since we haven't been for a few years.
