Sunday Review Monday 11/24/14

We had an amazing Sunday at Pobjednici Baptist Church including a sweet baptism afterwards. Our little church is growing and our people are becoming more like Jesus every day.

We had a wonderful crowd this morning and everyone was in good spirits. Our people are so loving to one another.

Danijela was recently saved and decided to follow the Lord in baptism. She is getting married to one of our men next month.

Robi is her intended and was happy to see her take this first step to follow the Lord.

Oh you want to know what I was doing? Absolutely nothing! I'm so tired of sitting. I can't wait to walk without crutches. I'm headed to the Dr. tomorrow and they said I should be able to walk on the foot Tuesday at least on my toes. And stitches should come out a week from Tuesday! Can't wait!

I have to tel you a story. This is the Krešo's story. He was saved many years ago in our church and soon stopped comeing. He went off deep into the world and we seen him off and on for several years. Well, 5 months ago when we had to go to the States for an emergency family situation he began coming back to church. We heard lots of good reports while we were Stateside but we were skeptical. When we returned home we were amazed to see a true change in Krešo. He is a true story of a changed life. He has such a real joy in his heart he lights up the room when he enters.

His story is so important because of the situation with the Gypsy people here in Croatia. We have tried many time to start something with them. Many have been saved but the devil has such a strong hold on their lives that it has been almost impossible to get anything real going. We have prayed for a man to be raised up, a Gypsy man, one of their own. Who understands their way of life, understands what is truth and what isn't. Krešo is just that man. We are fervently praying that God will do soomething miraculous with his life. We are praying he will be the Gyspy preacher that will stand in the gap and care for their souls. Please pray for Krešo as he learns and could be God's man to bring Jesus to the Gypsies.

Well this is our little church minus and plus a few. We aren't a large church but we are a church that's lifting up the Lord Jesus so He can draw all men.

  1. What a sweet church group. There is no better way to start a new marriage than with both of them serving the Lord. May God continue to bless in and through your people.

  3. It sounds like your little church is a wonderful place of fellowship and love. May the people continue to draw close to Jesus and reflect His love. I pray that God will lead Krešo in the path He has for him.
