Where in the world have I been???

I don't even know how four months have passed so fast. It's April already and I'm in shock that we've already used up a third of 2014. So much has happened in the last four months.

We officially became residents of Varaždin, the former capitol of Croatia. With the boys both gone and living in the states it's just Johnny, Hannah and little ol' me. Our large family home outgrew us so we've down scaled to a much smaller house or it's actually and apartment in a house. We've done a ton of work to make it livable, but that's a whole other post.

Hannah and I've been busy with her school. She's doing half 11th grade and half 12th. She's trying to get caught up with math and were doing both algebra and geometry. Luckily Geometry is only sorta math so it's not too bad. We're not looking forward to next August when she heads off to Bible college in the States.

Josh is in his second semester of Bible college at Texas Independent Baptist Seminary (formerly Texas Baptist College) in Longview,  Texas. He's loving it and enjoying his job at Cracker Barrel.

Cody is taking a break from school to get his tuition school bill paid off. He's busy with a new job and church.

Both boys have significant others that I really like. Life changes so fast.

The work here in Croatia is going great. We're looking forward to good weather and the growing season. Winter here is always hard on the church with the snow and sickness keep the church from growing. So we're "planting" like crazy and we're looking forward to God giving the increase.

So much more has happened including a trip to Salzburg, Austria for my 41st birthday but like the house that's another post.

Anyhoo, I'm back and gonna do my best to be a better blogger. Stick with me guys, I won't let 'cha down.

  3. Glad to see you posting again. Thought maybe there was an illness or something. It doesn't seem like Hannah should be going to college yet! How old is she?

    1. No, no illness but the house we moved into needed major fixin' up and that took lots of time.
