Okay so I'm still here in Croatia. We are two weeks away from flying out for furlough and Thanksgiving is just around the corner. Not having the internet is about to KILL me. I am so addicted. Maybe this cold-turkey time is good for me.
Furlough this time around should be great. We will be leaving the work in the hands of the national pastor Bro. Rich and 3 other missionaries. All the different works should still go on. We did have to do something really sad and postpone our kids meeting in one of the Gypsy villages. It's getting cold and with half these kids not wearing any clothes anyhow and having no building to meet in we're gonna have to wait until Spring to start it back up. Well at least our partners will.
Anyhow, 2 more weeks and we'll be in the states and I'll have internet again, can't wait!!!
Miss reading all your blogs and can't wait to get caught up.
Oh boy! I DO hope we will get to see you. If you have any time open, please message me and I'll send you our number so your hubby can call us. We are right off of I-30, on the way to Dallas. Have a safe trip!!
ReplyDeleteWell that is exciting news that you are coming to the states. Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving. :)
ReplyDeleteA blessed Thanksgiving to you & yours; safe travels too.

ReplyDeleteTori~ I really feel for you having to go without the internet. I know it is so fun to read blogs and be on facebook.
ReplyDeleteI hope ya'll have a great time on your furlough.
God bless,
Lisa :o)
We've missed your updates. Praying for your furlough!
ReplyDeleteTori, I'm looking forward to seeing you post more too (if time permits, of course). I've missed reading here!
ReplyDeleteYou know, I'm just a simple girl living a sheltered life here in the good 'ole USA. You may not realize it, but what you write is a reminder to me that there is more out there than just my little world. It's so easy to get caught up in life, forgetting that there's a world out there dying and going to Hell. Thank you for being the reminder of so many other countries that need Him. We're in the Bible Belt, and it is so easy to forget. Thank you.
Have a good furlough and looking foward to you posting again.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm guessing you all are Stateside by now. Hope once things settle down a bit, you'll pop in and say "hello!" to us! :o) (and if you're heading to the midwest sometime, I hope you'll email me so I can give you our church info and maybe you guys can stop by and present your field... plus, it'd just be super fun to meet up with you! :o) Happy furlough and Merry CHRISTmas!!!
