Just Some Stuff

Well I thought I would share this photo with you guys. Only is Roswell, New Mexico can you go to the local gas station and get your yearly flu shots! :0)

Now something more serious, a friend sent me this poem today and I like it! Thought I would share it with ya. Thanks Donna!

When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not shouting "I'm clean livin'"
I'm whispering "I was lost, Now I'm found and forgiven."

When I say... "I am a Christian" I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.

When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.

When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.

W hen I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible but, God believes I am worth it.

When I say... "I am a Christian" I still feel the sting of pain.
I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name.

When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not holier than thou,
I 'm just a simple sinner who received God's good grace, somehow!

“A woman's heart should be so hidden in Christ that a man should have to seek Him first to find her."

**what a great saying, how many problems would be solved in relationships today if we as women practiced this???

  2. Sure, go ahead and use it. I received it from a pastors wife friend of mine in Michigan. I'm sure she wouldn't mind.

  3. I've seen signs for flu shots being given at all sorts of places. It is amazing what we have come to in this field of medicine. I love that poem....I've seen it many times. And I love that quote too. That is an awesome thought!!

  4. Hello Tori!!!
We have been here at Trinity since last Thursday. Neil called Bro. Gonzalez and he invited us to come. He has since helped Neil get several meetings in the area. Neil is thankful to Bro. Johnny for the "connection" and wanted me to write and let you all know how good God has been to us here.
The only problem here has been a lack of internet conectivity. We are right now in a parking lot of a shopping center!

Praying that all is going well for you. Greetings to Bro. Whitehead!

  8. Do you have to pay for a flu shot in the US? That's terrible that I even have to ask that. I wouldn't get one if they paid ME. :)
