Bravo Governor Robert Bentley!!!

 Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley is taking fire for every liberal group out there after saying this to a church group,

"Anybody here today who has not accepted Jesus Christ as their savior, I'm telling you, you're not my brother and you're not my sister, and I want to be your brother,"

The liberals of this country are bombarding this man all because he doesn't want a soul to burn in an eternal hell. Wow, shame on your Governor, for caring!!!

My heart breaks for these lost souls because one day they are going to be full aware that Governor Bentley was right and the sorrow will flow in their hearts that they didn't listen and not only did they not listen they persecuted him for caring.

Praying for Israel

With all the conflict in the Holy land and the distaste for the Jewish people by the news media we really need to stand in solidarity with God's people.

Isn't it odd how history itself has documented the constant persecution of the Jewish nation, and the Bible recorded it before the foundation of the Earth and still the world can not see it. The Jewish people are the chosen people of God.

God is very clear about His people and the way we, the grafted ones, should treat them. So WHY SHOULD CHRISTIANS PRAY FOR ISRAEL?
Christians should pray for Israel beause:

1. We are commanded by God to pray for them

Psalm 122:6

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

2. God loves them

Jeremiah 31:3

The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.

Romans 11:2

God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying,

3. God's blessing is upon those who pray for them

Genesis 12:3

And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

4. It is God's will that they be saved

Romans 11:23-27

And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again.

For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?

For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

5. They do not understand God's righteousness

Romans 10:3

For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

6. They are increasingly open to the Gospel

Romans 11:23-27

7. Satan seeks to destroy them

Revelations 12:27

And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

8. Gentiles have tragically neglected the command of Romans 1:6

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

9. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is to the Jew first

10. They are in desperate need of their Messiah

John 8:12-24

11. Judaism fails to satisfy

Hebrews 10:14

For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

Galatians 2:16

Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

So why should we pray for the salvation and care of Israel? Simply because God commands it!

Well What Can I Say?

The more I think about this whole political mess America has got herself into I can't help but think that maybe just maybe this is the turning point for America. Maybe this is the year that God takes His hand off of America. I can't even fathom it and pray it doesn't happen but I can't see how God could continue to bless a country that has no desire to serve him.

I guess until this election I hadn't realized that the majority of Americans are nonchalant concerning God's Word and right. I know now that America is no longer a nation under God but a nation ruled but the great green back and what feels good.

I read an article on another blog from a man supposedly a Christian man and his decision to vote for Obama. He had always voted Republican because they represented his Bible view of right but this year was going to be different. In the past he had voted his conscience concerning abortion, gay marriage and so on but now he was more worried about financial ruin and a good economy. I was shocked to think that the death of millions of babies could be looked over and justified for a measly fist full of money. How far have we come when we can overlook taking a full term baby alive from the mothers womb and leave it on a table to cry itself to death?

Anyhow, I still think America is the greatest county on Earth, I really do, but not for long. We are no different than Israel and other peoples in the Bible that turned on God and eventually reaped the consequences of that decision.

Well I started this blog this morning thinking that this whole Obama thing is a unthinkable thing and I still think it is. It's a turning point that we will reap from for generations.

Anyhow, doesn't this mean that the "One Nation Under God" will soon change. Doesn't this mean that the Muslim terrorists will soon spot a vital hole in the nation's security. That our great society of free enterprise will soon fall into the hands of a socialist government, stealing from the rich in the name or mercy and giving to those who refuse to take advantage of the freedoms we have in this great country to work and make a life for themselves and their own. I really wonder if this isn't the beginning of the end. Maybe this is a good thing, maybe it has to happen for the puzzle pieces to fall into place; to unite a divided world, to usher in a one-world currency, maybe this is just another play on the proverbial game of chess between the Good and evil. Hey I'm not a dooms-day prophet I'm just a sinner watching for His glorious return.

So upon this historical presidential election I quote, He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I COME QUICKLY. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

MAD

Wow what a title for a blog, well I am, mad that is. Know why?

Well in the past election we voted at our American Embassy in Zagreb and that was great but this year they changed everything.

This year we had to send off to the states, actually to our county for the ballot and we were suppose to receive the ballot; we would fill it out for McCain of course and return it to be counted but here we are sitting less than a week away and still no ballot. Even if it came today there would be no way to get it returned in time. I'm so hot about this I can't even stand it. There is one silver lining, Texas is already pretty much guaranteed for McCain so my vote wont make a difference in that but still.

Johnny is totally convinced that the "ballot senders" are democrats and that's why the long wait. Could be, dunno, but I'm still mad!

Abortion and Murder

It totally amazes me how anyone especially a mother could vote for a man like Barack Hussein Obama who believes in taking the life of an innocent child born or unborn.
