Old Year Fun

Well the Old Year, what they call New Year's Eve in Croatia has come and gone. We had our Wednesday night service Thursday and had our prayer meeting also. After the service and praying for the new year we ate, as all good Baptists do. We played some board games and WII and then headed to town together as a church to watch the fireworks.

Oh yea and I almost forgot, we have a new family in the church, okay they aren't really just a family but the Holcombs are finally here and we're really enjoying them.

Bro. Holcomb spake to our people and then he sang. He can sing!!

Bro. and Mrs. Holcomb.
Some of our people and their family members.
Holcomb boys and our boys up to no good I suspect.
Johnny!! My sweetie! and Bro. Alen, a faithful member and soul winning in the church.
Fireworks!
Fireworks!!
Fireworks!!
and more fireworks! It was so much fun and our little town puts on a great show.

So it's 2010 and I'm so excited to see what God is going to do this year. It's gonna be fun!!!

  3. No it's not a beret Bro. James, it's a hat of some sorts for sure. I think it's called a Dobbs Cap. It gets really cold here in Croatia and his head gets cold so he's started wearing a cap along with his gloves and scarf and big coat. I like the cap on him, it makes him more handsome than he already is!

Wanna us to send you one???

  5. If I was in cold weather a lot, I'd probably wear a hat too.
As long as he doesn't start carrying one of those European man purses, he's okay.
