Public Service Announcement - Free Books!

I recently saw this on a sweet little blog I read and I was seriously interested. How cool is this? You get free books and all you have to do is give an honest review. Does it getting any better than that?
We give out review copies to bloggers, retailers, librarians, and media outlets in exchange for an honest review!
I would love to participate in Blogging for Books but I imagine my geographical location will prohibit it but for some of you book-lovers this is probably right down your alley.

They have books in all of these categories:

Better Living
Business
Cooking & Food
Crafts, Home & Hobbies
Entertainment
Faith
Fiction
Non-Fiction

I also found this one, BookLook Bloggers which is a similar company. I have noticed a few people using this one too.

Apparently these are the qualifications to be involved with BookLook Bloggers:

  • With an actively maintained personal, public blog. The program does not accept Facebook, Amazon, Goodreads or any other type of community profile site as a viable form of blog.
  • Who have a visible minimum of 30 followers or subscribers. If the BookLook Bloggers team cannot view this follower count, we cannot currently accept your application. There are multiple options in order to place a follower count on your blog, such as Google Friend Connect, Wordpress Follow Blog Widget, Blogger Buzz, Twitter follower buttons, Facebook follower buttons, and using a Feedburner Count.
  • Who consistently post content at least once per week.
And BETHANYHOUSE also has a review program. Are you kidding me? They also allow world wide review of electronic copies so that means I'm eligible.

Anyhoo, Blogging for Books, BETHANY HOUSE & BookLook Bloggers are more than cool and I thought you'd want in!

7 Free, modest Clothing Tutorials

I've been collecting some great modest tuts lately for the day when I get a burst of motivation and energy. These are really versatile tuts 'cause the length and sleeves can be added to to make them as modest as you'd like. Oh yea and best of all, they're FREE!

This is a great tutorial over at Merrick's Art. She's very thorough and look how cute it turns out. Love it!

Again, Merrick's Art has another awesome tut. Love this little Mod Shift Dress.

There's a great T-shirt dress tutorial over at iCandy. This could be so versatile especially if I had one in black, khaki and navy!

I adore this super-easy top pattern over at It's Always Autumn. The possibilities are endless. I love that it's super easy to make the sleeves longer.

Is this not the most adorable blouse! It's a man's dress shirt, no really! Adorable!
Guess what, the tutorial is free over at It's Always Autumn.

Love this cute pleated skirt tutorial. The Socialite Skirt over at Elle Apparel is so cute. She's got a great tut for it so take a peek.

Love this maxi dress tutorial that I found over at Second Story Sewing. She used a sheet, so smart and cheap.

I'm totally gonna make some of these as soon as that burst of energy comes along. I'm sure you're totally self-motivated and you're gonna be knocking these out in no time.

Anyhoo, enjoy!!

Wanna Do-s Someday Soon

Okay so we're settled in here in Croatia and I guess we should be after 5 months. We are slowly working on our house and been very busy with work here. Life is full but one thing is missing...CRAFTING!!! I have a craft room and every thing but haven't I haven't had time to get any crafts done. I would love to be productive. Just a few small things around the house that I'm make with my own hands.

So here's my hope-list right now. I have so many other things that I want to do but these are totally doable for now. I'm gonna do my best to get at least one done each week. We'll see!.
I absolutely love this painting.

How cute are these little branch hangers? They would look great bunched all together with or without something on the.

Cereal boxes??? No way!

I'd love to do this with the print from each of my children. Gonna do it!

Don't have a link for this one but it's pretty self explanatory. Too cute!

How easy? Wish I could get the Clorox bleach pen, her in Croatia, can't but maybe I can figure something else out. The possibilities are endless!

I so need to do this. That's totally what my bedroom needs. Gonna do this for sure!

Okay, I love this!!! I have the stamps to do this all I need is some pennies! They're a little hard to come by here in Croatia.

How easy and cheap is this!

What a great idea! Lovely.

Great idea, I need one!!

I TOTALLY love this bag. I have the leather braided belt and everything, now I just have to fine a little time.

I love this little cover for my New Testament.

I love this! There's even a generator for this on the website. Great idea.

So this is my list. I am really gonna try to get at least one done a week. I'll be posting them as I finish them. Here's to creativeness!

Merry Christmas missionary ladies!

Okay yea, I know it's not Christmas but if this post surprises you like I think it will for many of you, then, MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Okay so several months ago someone told me about  Fomny TV, okay so it's not actually TV but it is awesome.

One of the things I missed from America was HGTV and 3 or 4 years ago I could actually watch whole episodes on HGTV.com but then they started giving me the the message. If you ever try to watch American programming from out of country you know what message I'm talking about.
Thank you Hulu for making Andy and Goober available to all Americans but us overseas Americans.

Okay so anyhow, I found Fomny TV and guess what is available on there... No really, guess!
HGTV, I'm not kidding, it's actually the streaming HGTV from the states with Poptart and Lysol commercials! If you have highspeed then the quality is as good as it is in the states.

Okay so if you go to Fomny TV and make sure that the little American flag near the top is clicked then scroll down a little then you'll see the HGTV icon; click the icon and give it a second to pull up the feed and you're ready to go. You can upsize it to full screen and BE INSPIRED!

WARNING!!!
Be very cautious about your time consumption. A half hour show can turn into a who day wasted on the couch eating peanuts and drinking coke of you're not careful.

Enjoy Y'all!
